Signing Ceremony between

The Royal Government of Cambodia and

the Government of the Federal republic of Germany

concerning Agreement on Financial and Technical Cooperation 2011

 

 

After the successful inter-governmental negotiations on 13-14 December 2011 in Bonn, Germany, there was a signing ceremony concerning Agreement on Financial and Technical Cooperation 2011 on Thursday, 09 August 2012. It was between the Royal Government of Cambodia and the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany which was represented by H.E Keat Chhon, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Ministry of Economy and Finance and H.E Dr. Wolfgang Moser, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the kingdom of Cambodia.

 

In the total amount of 30.13 million euros, the agreements are used for supporting the implementation in priority areas of Health, Rural Development, Land Management, Statistical Capacity and Cross-cutting issues (Good Governance) namely Public Administration and Decentralization Reform. In this context, Financial Cooperation Agreement covers 19 million euros and supports the implementing of 4 projects focusing particularly on improvement of health sector, land sector and rural infrastructure. In other words, Technical Cooperation Agreement supports 7 projects covering 10.13 million euros.
