The Agreement on Development Cooperation for 2012-2013 was signed on Wednesday 5^th September, 2012 between the Royal Government of Cambodia, represented by H.E. Keat Chhon, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Ministry of Economy and Finance and H.E Anne Höglund, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to the Kingdom of Cambodia.

This signed agreement provided for 400 million Swedish Kronor (SEK) for the period 2012-2013 to support the implementation of activities in the priority areas that include democratic development and human rights, education and climate change. This agreement is based on discussions that have taken place between the Royal Government and the Government of Sweden since mid-2010 during the process of preparation of the five-year strategy for Cambodia-Sweden Cooperation 2011-2015.
