A-Proposed newly agreed 2008 JMI to the CDC: “Percentage of HIV-positive
pregnant women who received anti-retrovirals to reduce the risk of
mother-to-child transmission”.
B. Progress on Joint Monitoring Indicators

8-The guidelines and policies for operation of needles and syringe
program is finalized.
9-The operational framework for access by drug users to HIV
Voluntarily counseling and testing in closed setting is finalized.
10-The Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training’s Strategic Plan and
Costed Operational Plan 2007-2011 is finalized.
11-The update situational response analysis and the annual review of
the NSPII are finalized.
12-The annual workplan for the religious response to HIV/AIDS and the
private sector engaging in HIV/AIDS response technical working groups
are being developed. |

C. Implementation Status of the Action Plan on
Harmonization, Alignment and Results

technical workin group on HIV/AIDS Workplan preparation is conducted
in a participatory manner between the Royal Government of Cambodia,
civil society and the UN.
-The USAID’s new strategy for the support of the national response is
shared through the Family Health International.
-The finalized review NSPII harvested the harmonization and alignment
of development partners with the government’s priorities. |

D. Resource Mobilization
-
Please provide details
of your TWG's resource mobilisation efforts since the June 2007 CDCF
meeting (including identified resource needs, actual commitments and
source of funds, and remaining gaps) and the extent to which these
resource mobilisation efforts are linked to an Action Plan or sector
programme that includes a budget framework for programming resources and
activities within the domain of the TWG.
The issues of resources gaps are discussed in the TWG meetings. The
Global Fund ATM Round 8 will be another source of funding for the
HIV/AIDS Response. Priority programs funding gaps were discussed and
continuous works are carrying out toward the development of proposal to
the Global Fund ATM Round 8..
Resources were mobilized to support the meetings of the technical
working group within the first –half of 2008. A request for funding
support to the crucial needs of TWG-HIV/AIDS was made to the CDC/CRDB.
